Originally this site started out as an experiment for the implementation of microformats (specifically vCard), POSH and CSS3 in xHTML. At about the same time I became really impressed (and somewhat involved) with the amazing web scene that's occurring in & around Bristol. Everyone I've met so far has been lovely, endearing and incredibly helpful so I thought this might be a good place to connect all that 'good vibe' in one place, and in a fun way.
Breakfast Epiphanies was designed for Safari 3.2.1+ specifically as it is the only browser at the moment to implement all of the css techniques used on this site. It does however display reasonably well in Firefox 3.0.5+. I haven't tested it in Internet Explorer nor do I intend too just yet as it wasn't designed with it in mind. That said it should work on some level.
The site is semi-fluid, built on a grid and validates but at the moment is written mostly in pixels over em's. This will be changing in the coming weeks.
Breakfast time is when I nurse a cup of coffee, read my favourite blogs & first check twitter. It's also usually the time of day I get fresh ideas and they often come from people who inspire me. It's that 'web of inspiration' that I want to share here.

If you're involved with New Media (are we still using that phrase?) in the Bristol area then I'd love to hear from you. Whether you're a traditional graphic designer, developer, web designer, UX person, video artist or animator, you're very welcome here
If you want to be listed here pop me an @reply or DM on Twitter* and let me know the following:
If you don't use Twitter* then email me
*Why I prefer twitter? Because (A) it's a great tool for communication, (B) I can see your details, hence you're probably not a spammer, (C) I can get your information faster & (D) I'm a designer not a developer so I suck at making sign-up forms :)
